The Greek industrial group Mytilineos SA, through its Renewable Energy and Storage Development (RSD) business unit, has signed an agreement with Enel Green Power Romania SRL, a subsidiary of the Enel Group, to sell approximately 90MW of solar energy portfolio, including two solar power plants, in Romania. It is planned to realize commercial operation at the end of 2022/early 2023.

Specifically, the main project is Calugareni, a 63 MW buildable (RTB) solar power plant, planned to start construction at the end of 2021. The remaining 26 MW is currently under development.

At the same time, Mytilineos, through its RSD business unit, is implementing a project development and investment platform for solar photovoltaic and storage projects. It currently supplies approximately 118 MW and 3.5 MW of solar photovoltaic power in Australia and Cyprus, respectively.
